Gummy supplements need a gelling agent to hold their shape and chewy texture, and there are two common choices: gelatin, derived from animal collagen (usually bovine or porcine), or pectin, a plant-derived alternative.
Based on the materials we reviewed, JellyRock's gummy base is gelatin-derived. This isn't disclosed prominently on most of the marketing pages we checked, which tend to focus on flavor and format convenience rather than the base ingredient itself.
If you follow a vegetarian or vegan diet, or a religious dietary restriction that excludes gelatin (many halal and kosher standards require specifically certified gelatin, which isn't confirmed here), this is worth knowing before you order rather than after your bottle arrives.
If gelatin is a dealbreaker for you, look specifically for "pectin-based" or "vegan" labeling on gummy supplements, or contact JellyRock's seller directly to confirm the current formulation before ordering.
